I recently changed the password on my internet because I thought someone was hijacking my internet. Since then they have not come back and I thought everything was fine...But now i can connect to the wifi, but my ping is always changing. One minute it is at 90 or something like that...and the next minute it is at 1000. When my computer starts up i can not even connect to Teamspeak or Steam. Then when i finally connect to TS my ping is always at 3000...please help me, i would love to play some games but i just cant right now.

Thanks,
Matthew

Solution
Try connecting via a cable to be sure it is not your internet connection having a issue.

Random latency is extremely common on wireless. This is caused by interference that causes data retransmission which takes time. The wireless frequencies are very crowded because everyone has their router set to use as much bandwidth as possible. Little you can do other than change channels hoping to find some bandwidth for yourself. Going dual band give more possible selections even though 5g does not cover as well in most houses.
