hi, i am looking to connect 2 gpus into my motherboard, how do i connect the second gpu? is it possible with the p55ud3 , i think it is but not 100% sure,in the gpu specs i need pci x16 slot.
in the motherboard specs (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3439#sp) it says 1 pci 16 slot for expansion but says its supports Multi-Graphics Technology. tried to connect my gpu to the other slot and it worked, at the moment i have only 1 gpu, so cant really test it.
also how can i know if my psu will support it in terms of power? , its 750w , got 4890 ati card planing on adding r3 250 ati card, and has i5 750 cpu.
and one last thing how exactly i plug in the second gpu into the psu?
(i am adding another card without Crossfire just for the purpose of connecting 3 monitors setup)
thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

thing is you can't use the 4890 in pair with one R7 250, they are diferent cards.
for dual GPUS (crossfire or SLI) the cards must be the same specifications (the brand may vary and the amount of memory too, but the architecture (the GPU itself) must be the same)
to work you will need 2x R7 250 or 2x 4890

and one more thing, with that motherboard with one PCI-e at 16x and the second at 4x the performance will be bad

I have got 3 monitors. 4890 card can support 2. I want to connect all 3 without buying and expensive card... its not for preformance. I dont play any games maybe just runescape. Its for productivity.

on the first post you said r3 250, and that does not exist, so i assumed it was an R7 250

"got 4890 ati card planing on adding r3 250 ati card, and has i5 750 cpu."

and yes the mb and psu will handle the cards
