[SOLVED] connecting a bluetooth ver 5.0 Headphones to a Bluetooth ver 4.0 dongle?

Hey there i have a question
Does connecting a bluetooth ver 5.0 Headphones to a Bluetooth ver 4.0 dongle will make latency in audio? Say like when your playing some fps, does the the sound of a gun shot will be late because of the difference in Bluetooth version?

Yes, how much I’m not sure but Bluetooth 5.0 can use lower latency codec. To be honest if latency is a concern then use a wired headset, Bluetooth will always introduce latency.

Well okay thenn, btw i used to use the wired mode of my headphones. But the cable is gone and its a 15$ cable so no wired mode for me 😂.
