Question Connecting a old printer - no driver

Hey all, I just got given a Toshiba e-studio163 copier/printer/scanner that works a dream, and after half a day of trying I can't get it to connect to either my windows or mac computers with multiple driver downloads on both. The instruction manual states it works up to windows XP, but I have windows 10 and OSX 10.14..5. Any advice to get it to work on either? Thanks in advance

The last official driver package for the 163 was for Windows 7

Apple OS isn't officially supported at all.

Type e-Studio 163 in the search box here:

Thanks for the quick reply, got it working with that driver, I had previously tried that same driver but I choose the wrong port.. what a noob.

Ive been flat out trying to get it to work on the Mac over network printer sharing. The mac can detect it and install it as similar but different toshibas that have the software/drivers already on the mac to choose from, but no avail. Any advice on that? or its going to be a straight not gonna happen?

Thanks for the help, nope unfortunately not, that link is for the #357 not #163 i have, i tried it anyway but the Mac doesn't even detect it, so ill jus put it down to windows only
