Question Connecting a PCI-E NVME adapter to a riser designed for graphic cards?

I have a riser that nominally should work with graphics cards.
My question is : if I can use a PCI-E NVME adapter with it ?
The m.2 slot is already occupied by the system drive.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If you need more storage, you can look at external enclosures that accommodate M.2 NVMe drives but your speeds might be limited.

In fact, your next best option would be to go for a SATA based SSD.

No I care about speed.

Do you already own all the parts, incl the NVMe drive?

If not, then just get a SATA III SSD. Problem solved, easy connection.
