Question Connecting bad monitor with good computer?

Hello. So recently i bought a decend gaming computer, and with that being said i ran out of money and i didnt really planned out everything, because i dont have any monitors to play on. I only have old samsung tv, i dont know if its LCD or LED, but it is kind of old.. I think the reselotion is like 800x600 for that TV. Is it a good idea to connect it with a good gaming pc? I just dont want to ruin anything or like that, if its even possible.

E: So basically on the video cards package it says, to connect the video card w LCD/TV monitor.. I dont know if its supposted to mean, that its not for LED monitors..

with tvs? not really espacially the old ones or the non-gaming one's or what you would call them but you should be fine.
