Hello,
I'm trying to connect my computer to the tv, both relatively old. The computer has only VGA out, and the tv has only RCA (yellow, red, white) and s-video sockets. I connected to the computer a cable adapter from VGA to RCA (that can also adapt to s-video, but I don't have a s-video cable), and connected it to the yellow part of a RCA yellow-red-white cable. I connected the other side of the cable to the TV.
The tv acts as if nothing is connected, I tried all its RCA sockets but I get no image on any channel. Any advice, anyone? I don't care about sound at the moment, only video.

TV: Grundig Prima t 72-8300
Display adapter: Intel G41 Express Chipset

Thanks very much in advanced!

Change the input on the TV. Some RCA ports only tune in through the low channels that nothing broadcasts on (e.g. ch. 1 or ch. 0). Try that. Also, on your computer, be sure the display settings are outputting to the VGA monitor. If that doesn't work, try converting S-Video to RCA. I think the signals are more similar to one another than are VGA and RCA.
