ok, i know this may sound like a dumb question. but the manuals have me confused at the moment.

Im trying to hook up my EVGA 1070 acx 3.0 to an EVGA NEX650 gold power supply. the card only has one 8 pin input. it came with an adapter that goes from 8 pin male to two 6 pin female. the PSU came with 4 cables that have one 8 pin male side and one 6+2 male side. they are all labeled VGA G1-B.

Do i have to use the adapter that came with the card (the manual says to use if supplied) using 2 cables 6 pin and leaving the 2 side pins out or can i just use the one cable that has the 8 and 6+2 directly into the card? again i know this sounds like a silly question but i dont want to mess anything up.

thanks in advance for the help.

ok thanks, so i can just run 1 cable from the PSU directly into the 8 pin on the card. thanks, that makes things so much easier. there was pics of like 8 configurations in the manual, and i was just getting confused. but i appreciate the help.
