[SOLVED] Connecting fan hub to fan controller not for PC

Hello, I would like to connect a fan hub to this controller through a 4-pin connector, would that be possible?

with non pwm fan hub and non pwm fans it should be possible..which would be 3wire fans/hub

red wire connect to motor +
black wire to motor -
yellow wire is just rpm readout, if you dont have display, then you can ignore that wire

Thank you, what if it has a display? where does the yellow wire go? The other controller I have seen has the same connectors on the back

On that picture is just a voltage controller which you can use on 2 or 3 pin fans and other 12vDC motors or lights. only 2 wires are controlled with no RPM feedback.
Any passive hub would also use just those 2 wires.
If you want to power and control PWM (4 wire) fans there are modules like that with PWM control, some even with RPM display.
