I have a Tp-link router WR740N and an Alcatel onetouch MiFi. I am planning to buy a sim card specifically made for mobile data for an Internet connection. My problem is that although the connection speed of the MiFi is good, i want the range to extend upto 100 meters or more, so that it works even in the shop which is below my house. Is there a way that i can connect the router to the MiFi and keep that router inside the shop so that i can use the same Internet inside the shop. There is no USB connection in the router and i am ready to buy a new router with one. The MiFi has just one standard usb port(small one which we see on mobiles) for charging. Can i use that to connect to a router? Will it work?
Please help me out. Any suggestions will be truly appreciated. All i want is to extend the WiFi range of my Alcatel mobile router.

These type of devices tend to be tricky to get to work with a router. Best option would be to use a repeater. This in general is not the optimum thing to do but many times it is the only choice. The repeater would need to go 1/2 between the hotspot and the location you wanted to cover. The large problem with this is the MiFi device must support WDS which is what a repeater is using to do it magic. Used to be none had this option but you see some that now have it. There are still a lot that do not support it, most these also have limits to how many devices you can connect.

If you want to go to a lot of effort you can build your own repeater with a a client-bridge and then connect it to the wan port of a router. This in effect is putting a wireless nic infront of the wan port. This method will work with most hotspot because it appears as a single end user machine. It is quite a bit more effort because you have to setup 2 devices but when you are desperate enough it will work.

It is unlikely you can connect via USB to any router. The router would need a special driver to use the MiFi as a wireless source and it likely does not have the driver and you can not load drivers into a router.

Thanks for your answer. I found the solution by watching this video https://youtu.be/4ykqFgJi-ZE. It's very simole and i can bridge any wireless network to my router. And i can connect this router to any other router through an ethernet cable. I didn't kmew it would be this simple. Thanks one again.
