I'm unsure on what plugs where when regards to plugging my monitor into my PC.

Do I need a DVI & HDMI? Where do they go?

Any info would be great thanks!

If you have a graphics card at the bottom, there should be ports for it, either VGA, DVI, or HDMI. If you dont have a card, on the motherboard, there should be a VGA port or DVI Port and possibly HDMI. some boards could have all three, some could have only one or two. Look at your monitor at the back now and connect it to your computer to the correct ports
If you look in the back of your computer you should see all the different ports that are from your graphics card (If you have one) from that you should see what ports you have there (If it is HDMI or DVI)

This is all the DVI ports (http://i.imgur.com/GpDky.gif)
This is HDMI (https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/aplus/detail-page/USB2HDMI-connector-end.jpg)

Depending on what plug it is and what ports you have on the back of your monitor depend on what lead you should connect to each port. Looking at the images you should be able to tell what ports you have and what the correct lead.
If there are two different ports in the graphics card then pick the right one that is on the mother board. Over all make sure that your monitor is connected to the graphics card if you have one and make sure you use the right lead.

Hope this helps.
