Connecting PC to TV - Edges are Cut Off

Im using an AMD card and am connecting my PC to my TV just for kicks and giggles - I wanna see what it's like playing games on it. However, tons of the screen is cut off - the taskbar, the left and right sides of the screen. It TV setttings --> PC settings, it tells me auto adjust is not available. Also tried doing the different formats (wide, zoom, normal etc.)

when connecting the TV you need to open Catalyst and configure the video output, resolution, size, etc.
then your TV will be using all the screen

What resolution are you running at? You need to set your system resolution to the max resolution of the tv, for example if its 1080p you d need 1920x1080. For 720p/1080i it would be 1280x720
