Question Connecting two pcs and getting the "unidentified network" error.

So I'm connecting two computers, both on windows 10 1909, both having gigabit ethernet ports, and I'm getting unidentified network on both of them. I've tried updating the drivers, plugging them in and restarting both of them, I tried a different cable, but so far, nothing seems to work. they're both custom built computers.

I was using 192.168.100.137 for both

every device (even virtual one) needs its own ip

well, I got it to work, but the other computer is taking up most of my bandwidth. is there a way to fix that with ics?

i dont think so
what cames up in mind to slow down ethernet speed, 10Mbit in settings should do

and it broke again. it's saying unidentified network on ethernet again.

so I'm using ics now, and when I activate it on the computer that is supposed to share it, it says "unidentified network, shared" but the other pc, the one on the receiving end says "network 3"
