I literately have 0 cash left and turns out that my new case Cooler master CMP 351 has a power supply (supposedly 500w ) model (rs 500 pcar i3) has only 2x4 pins which fit my h110m s2ph motherboard and I'm left with a 6 pin for my gtx 1060 g1 gaming, what happens if I get a 6 to 8 adapter and use it to power my GPU ?
P.S. getting a new PSU is my last last last last resort (Completely borke atm)
Thanks in advance

I see :( what happens if I use an adapter until I get the money for a new PSU, also how much power does a 6 pin provide ? and how much does a 8 pin provide ?
I mean I've read somewhere that the 6 pin provides 75w and the motherboard provides 75 so that sums to a total of 150w, and nividia's specs state that the card requires 120w
