Hello all,
ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 from windows 7 i am having some huge problems with online games. Every single game i play I get kicked out after a few minutes of playing. And its not the ping. I always check that; my connection is steady, nothing downloading or anything else like that. For example, in rainbow 6 siege I get the error code "2-0x0000b005", in Titanfall 2 i get "connection to server timed out". I have enabled port forwarding for both of the games and still nothing. I contacted my ISP and nothing they did helped me.

I didn't have any of those problems on Windows 7 and I'm tempted to roll back to it...

Do you have any ideas, maybe had the same problems?
I am connected with a TP-LINK TL-WN722N to my router.

Solution
yes, it is good untill a neighbor buys a weird router and suddenly you can't find wifi network, connection drops, connectios takes longer to respond, all sorts of things

also the router, some should work well for 3 or 5 years but i have seen cases where the amplifier connected to the antennas suddenly looses its capacity so you loose coverage

the adapter on your pc can suffer that too

apart form that, a old driver on windows could give you problems so get the newest available and remove this one when you can but most times the final solution is use a ethernet cable, works all the time
not sure if you can roll back now, depending on the license you have there

on this windows 10 install, are you using wifi, ethernet?

the drivers for the wifi or ethernet, did windows 10 installed them for you or you downloaded and installed drivers for it?

so wifi is the problem

can you try to find another driver for this wifi adapter?

if yo have the cd, probabl have the wifi adapter case, it must say brand and model, see if there is a newer driver for it for windows 10

as plan b, to play, you must always use wired connections to avoid wifi issues like this and many many other issues

wifi is good for movies and basic web browsing, but for gaming, it is bad, i had what you describe alot in gta v, moved to cable and got no issues in a month

but i used wifi for gaming for 2 years on windows 7 and haven't had problems like now...
and the thing is i'm not that close to the router and getting a cable from my computer to the router would be really challenging
