I have a main router address 192.168.1.1 and then TPLINK router to extend the range which shows as 192.168.2.1 problem is that it is providing connection to some laptops and not for some others. Connection is limited (wifi). The computer which has working connection can only open 192.168.1.1 (main router page) but the computer which has connection problem can only access TPLINK router page (the second one). Tried many things specially new windows but useless. Also tried adhock to use net from laptop which has working connection but it also has limited access to the faulty laptop. Any idea what might be the problem?

Solution
How is the TPLink connected to the main router? Your description suggests that the routers are wired together via Cat5. It appears you may have them connected together improperly.

Connect the cable to a numbered LAN port on the TPLink, and turn off LAN DHCP on it as well. The devices connected to the TPLink will get their configuration information from the main router.
