Hi.
Recently i have been having serious problems with my Xfinity comcast connection, in that sometimes it simply won't load certain websites, BUT IT will still load others, despite the fact that there is no blocking, or other prevention via firewalls of these particular websites that won't load.
For Example: It will load netflix and facebook right away, but hangs on OKCupid, Craigslist, and won't see my chromecast device.
like a "selective" lack of connectivity.
Out of curiosity, I went to CMD and entered the ipconfig /release command, followed by the ipconfig /renew command and and suddenly things are fine again.
So what is the problem and wjhy dies it strike when I have made no changes to my network?
Also: Is there a way I can automate the "ipconfig /release" - "ipconfig /renew" commands so they are just a single one-touch butrton?
Thanks!
