considering GTX 980 (cooling importance)

Building a new gaming pc from scratch (1st time) will fan based cooling be enough or is it important to have a liquid cooling system and if so how efficient are pre-built cooling systems or would it be beneficial to build loop specific systems for GPU and processor.

since you only listed the video card not sure about any of it or if it will even fit in the case you picked.
The GTX980 only draws about 170 Watts running 100% and the stock cooling is adequate.
