Considering the gtx 1170 has a 29700 3dmark firestrike score, which processor will not bottleneck it (in any game)

This graphics card has a quite lot of power, more than i ever imagined, and now i really doubt my i5 6500 @4GHz will handle this card without a bottleneck, which processor can i use for this card?

Solution
The 1170 has not yet been released. Any site claiming they have received an 1170 to test (and that the numbers are going to stay constant) is likely looking for attention. I'd expect the 1170 to perform between the 1080 and 1080 Ti, nothing higher than that. Also, the 6500 will be fine for most cases, except for gaming at very high refresh rates. It all depends on what you're currently running. A full system spec list (including the monitor) would help me better inform you.

WCCF seems to clarify this in their article: https://wccftech.com/rumor-nvidia-turing-gtx-1170-benchmark-leaked-faster-than-1080-ti/

As a side note, your i5-6500 has base/turbo clocks of 3.2 GHz/3.6 GHz, respectively, not 4 GHz.... :)

If playing at 4K, you might be able to stand pat several months; if below that, and especially if at 1080P, naturally results will be lower than latest generation processors clocked 1.5 GHz higher....

Well, i play with a 1080p 144 hz monitor
And this what i have:

I5 6500 @4 ghz OC
2×8gb gskill ripjaws
Asrock z170 pro
Msi 1060 6gb
Lg Gn216hl 144hz 1080p

(I've overclocked the 6500 with the old motherboard trick)

Also, the purported leaked photo claims the 1170 has 16GB of VRAM, at a time when memory prices are high and the new GDDR6 is undoubtedly in extremely short supply, which seems like a bit of a stretch. Even Nvidia's professional-level Titan V, priced at $3000 and released just 7 months ago, only has 12GB of HBM2 VRAM. Maybe the 1180 or eventual 1180 Ti could see that much, but it seems highly unlikely that they would put that much VRAM on a consumer-oriented card that isn't even top of the product line. That amount of GDDR6 would likely add up to around half the selling price of the card. Plus, even at 4K, I don't see games requiring that much VRAM any time soon. The 1170 probably won't have more than 8GB of VRAM, telling us that photo is almost assuredly faked. I certainly wouldn't base future buying decisions on that information.

Well all kind of ganes, shooter rpg race battle royale etc. And the benchmark is probably true because in the past generation the 1070 was slightly better than the 980 ti
