Consistent BSODs after new motherboard and CPU

So I recently upgraded from an AMD fx-6300 to an Intel i5-4690K on a PC Mate z97 motherboard. I have been getting BSODs at seemingly random points since then. I use my PC often and it will blue screen about 3-5 times a day. I have tried installing all drivers from the PC Mate Z97 part of MSI's website but the blue screens still continued. I then completely reset windows 10, deleting everything, but the blue screens still continue. I am at a loss for ideas at the moment. I would give specific BSOD errors but they are always different. Any tips on where to go from here? Are there any really obvious causes that may have occurred?

Thanks in advance.

I used the reset option on windows 10 settings, so I'm guessing thats me reusing a previous installation, unless resetting also reinstalls windows. I have not tested the ram because the problem arose when I switched CPU and motherboard so I assumed that it was not a ram issue.

Ok, are you sure that formatting the drive and doing a complete new install of windows will offer any benefits compared to the windows reset?

Ok thanks for the help I will try that tonight

So I completely formatted my hard drive and freshly reinstalled windows 10. Unfortunately the blue screens still continue. I am starting to believe that it is a driver issue as many of the BSOD errors upon research are commonly caused by drivers. I also got "amd driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered" before the windows reinstall.

Is it possible that the latest drivers I have may be causing this BSOD issue? Is there any way of diagnosing any faulty drivers that caused the BSOD? Thanks for the help so far :)

Something important to note is that this bluescreen did not happen before I changed hardware. Here are the specs:

MSI PC Mate Z97
Intel Core i5-4690K
AMD Radeon HD 7870 Ghz Edition
16gb (4x4) of Patriot Viper 3 DDR3
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Antec TP-650C
