Question Constant BSOD, WHEA-Logger 19, Processor APIC ID: 0

I've got a pretty decent 4-yo HP Envy 360. Over the past month, it's been blue-screening and rebooting. Event log suggests an issue with Processor Core 0.
I'm hoping to avoid scrapping this laptop (paid about $900 during Covid).
I would like to disable the bad core. But HP BIOS and Windows do not appear to be able to accommodate.
Is there any hope for this? Would switching to Linux allow me to disable that core?
Is there a "hidden" BIOS hack to disable the core, or a 3rd party app?
