Constant internet connection loss !!

Ok here is the deal, the past 3 days i am losing internet connection every now and then sometimes when i log into my router to see if it really lost connection it says connected but when i try to enter a website it is not possible ...
Some other times my connection speed is super slow and takes ages to even load googles homepage ...
And the crazy thing is that my brother next room with his laptop has no problems with the Wi-Fi
Since i didn't change ANYTHING at all , it must be routers problem...
Can anyone help me find out if it really is that before i go buy an other one ??

Maybe log on to your router and see what the problem setting is?

I know this might sound stupid but try switching off the router and leaving it for about a minute then switching it back on. Beleive it or not but it works about 90% of the time with them.

I know it works and i have done it many times these 3 days ... i have done a reset too

Might be worth asking your broadband supplier to send a replacement router
