Eternally getting a no signal from running 970 evga adapter. Less frequently getting occasional problems supplying 970 with power (I assume as fans don't kick on.
1. Suspect it may be mystery problem due to recent case structural damage.
2. Suspect loose or very sensitive connections on card for power.
3. Suspect issue with how modular power supply is being cabled to mobo, maybe cables themselves.
4. Suspect BIOS issue on Mobo and possible BIOS issue on Graphics card.
5. Wondering if checking power points manually might help.
Conclusion try a "bench test", ensure good BIOS flash to mobo and vid adapter.

Hi wrygost,

Running bench tests couldn't hurt, but it looks to me like it is almost certainly related to your power supply.

If you've had structural damage to your case make sure your motherboard is still seated correctly. Double check all cable connections from your current power supply.

If you're looking in what order to possibly replace parts, I'd definitely look at trying a new PSU before replacing the motherboard.
