Over the past 3 months I've been forced to move my computer to the kitchen so I can use Ethernet due to constant lag spikes on my computer through my USB adapter, this adapter is my third adapter i've bought since the issue started and it still persists. Does anyone have a fix? I have netgear n600 router.

I am assuming by 'USB adaptor' you are using wifi? There are various things that can cause wifi interference which would result in lag spikes - for example a neighbour might have gotten a similar router which is now blocking your signal.

If that is the problem, you can fix this by logging into the routers as admin, then go into the settings and change the wifi channel you are using.

If that still doesn't work, the other option is to look at some 'powerline network adapters' for example like these:

Those allow you to run a network port from your router to a different room (that way you get the benefit of wired ethernet without having to run cables everywhere).
