I've been having an issue for a while now where my ping would constantly spike from an average of 20 ms to 500 ms every 5 seconds or so.
I attempted to troubleshoot the problem by opening up cmd and typing the following in
which would yield the following
I've run the test on wifi/wired and through my phones wifi hotspot with the same results. Although through the phone the average ping was 60ms and spiked to 150 at the same intervals.
I've also tested this on a brand new Lenovo G50 with the same results.
My laptop is a HP Envy 15t-j100
ISP is TWC, Phone is ATT
Modem is a Motorola SURFboard
Router is D-LINK DIR-655
