When i turn my pc on it will get through POST (sometimes) and then restarts. Sometimes it won't even make it to the BIOS screen and sometimes i can make it to the login screen. But 99.999% of the time i cannot get that far and about 50-60% time it never gets through POST. Ive tried checking debug codes but nothing is helping. I tried several power supplies and even switched out my ram and quadruple checked it was in the right dimm slots.

I really have no idea whats wrong and its my gaming pc and I neeed some help please. I think the problem is the mobo, but i just dont know.

MOBO: MSI Z97 Gaming 7
CPU: Intel i-7 4790k
Ram: Kingston HyperX Fury 1600 (2x4gb)
Cooler: Corsair H80i
Graphics: MSI R9 290 4gb 512 bit
Storage: Kingston 120 gb SSD SV300S37A
Hitachi 0f10311 2tb 3 gb/s hdd

It does sound a lot like a problem with the Mobo, but it might not be... What did you last install or do on your PC? Did you update drivers or your OS to Windows 10, etc?

Also try to resit the GPU, RAM in different slots (again maybe), try to get into the BIOS and check everything in there if you can. You need to establish what is causing the problem and then we can help you fix it.

You could even try removing the GPU and running the PC on integrated graphics, if you can boot with integrated graphics then the GPU is probably the issue.

Hope this helps, goodluck :)
