Ditto

And there is no reason to have such a killer PC gaming rig any more. Software studios and and the likes have sold out the PC gamers in favour of the kiddie consoles. They then port the game to the PC therefore the PC just needs a average dedicated video card and it can run all the lame ass port jobs they can throw at it.
So actually I would rather have a 27" iMac and bootcamp it, it can handle any PC game under bootcamp, probably at max res too.

Hold up! It says it comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit edition, but in the official rules it says, "The prize does not include operating system or other software" What gives?

I'm confused by the 3GB RAM, 500GB HDD, and the lack of Blu-Ray ability.

For a custom, high end gaming unit (it has an i7 in it) it should have no less than 6GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, and should have a Blu-Ray player (if not a burner).

But as someone else mentioned, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I've signed up anyhow, as it'd still be a great machine. But it could use some upgraded options.

Also, keep in mind folks the reason companies do contests like this is to collect email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses for prospective customers. Thereby, by signing up you're giving them permission to start (e)mailing you stuff.

I agree about the RAM. 3GB is kinda small amount for this system. Im not to concerned about the lack of Blu-Ray or the 500GB HD though. If i were to win I'd just throw my Blu-Ray player and my 500 and 320 GB hds into it anyways. As far as the OS i just got a new copy of Win 7 64-bit anyways so i dont care if it comes with the OS or not.

upgrading can cause hardware and software clashing. Do you have support ! Without paying for it ? i am a beginner user. Thanks

I'm happy to see a "premier", "decked-out" gaming rig listed that so closely matches what I'm building. Mine is identical except for 6GB Corsair Dominator 1600MHz RAM, Corsair HX1000W PSU, Corsair V8 CPU Cooler, Western Digital 2TB RE4 HDD, and Win7 Ultimate. I'm still waiting on a Corsair 128GB SSD and a Blu-Ray Burner to add in. I bought this with insurance money from an apartment fire where I lost a modded Gateway FX6800. Good luck to all the entrants and may the winner enoy many a fragfest!

God that thing is beautiful. I just build me a rig that is just under the specs on this one and would gladly dump it (after swpaping out a few parts) for this guy.

Urgh...Don't confuse us simple folks by relisting the article with different date! Almost entered again which would have voided the submission I made on Monday!
