At first my power supply was failing so i replaced that, then my video card started to go so i removed it and used the integrated one.

Now its still randomly crashing more and more.

It seems like the best option here is to replace it.

It wont be for gaming.
Some school work, web browsing, and being able to also display it on my benq w1070 projector to watch movies along with displaying on a monitor. I do plan on using kodi. I do have an a/v receiver if that effects anything.

What do yous suggest? Would 500 bucks be able to get something decent?

Is a video card needed or is that more for gaming? I know theres integrated ones i just want to make sure movies look good.

Thanks

Okay ive looked around. I saw an Asus m32cd prebuilt that seemed like a good deal for what you get.

I also seen a used computer someones selling since they upgraded. It consists of:
Asus p8z77v/lk motherboard
I5 3570k
32gb of gskill Ares
Evga gtx 660 super clock pci-e 3.0-2 way SLI
Stock heat sink along with ETS-T40 Black Twister heat sink

Hes asking 500 bucks for this. It would still need a psu, hdd, and a case though. So that would probably make it not worth it with newer parts out?
