Hello,
I am in need of some guidance. I feel like I have exhausted all the tricks to make this work. I have three computers in my office all hard wired (not wi-fi) to my router. One computer loses connection to the internet, like clockwork, every two days. To get internet back I do the following under admin:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
NETSH winsock reset catalog
NETSH int ipv4 reset reset.log
NETSH int ipv6 reset reset.log
That gets me access to the internet for another two days and then I have to do it again.
I have also done the reset router, but again, it only effects the one pc and no the other two.
I have also gone into settings and changed the DNS to both manual and automatic to see if that solved it and it did not. I have changed both the preferred DNS and Alternate DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and still nothing.
I feel like I am running out of options here. Can anyone advise me on next steps? This has been going on for over a year and is becoming tiresome. I am running windows 10 on my dell pc.
Thanks.
