Controlling Dual Displays

In Windows 10, I've configured extended displays. When running in just the "mirror" mode, both displays were active. Now in extend mode, I can see the extended display's task bar, but I don't know how to launch an application and control it on the second display. Help! Instructions please.

Drag it over to the 2nd display.
Alternatively, click the application so it's active, and press:
Windows Key + Shift + Left or Right arrow keys to move it between monitors.
