Hello,

I've been sent a Word document that is 124 Mb but only 34 pages, and the reason why is because the author has embedded several charts as Excel objects - which means that all the data which goes into each Excel file is being incorporated into the Word document. I would have much preferred him to incorporate the charts as pictures.

Is there a way to convert embedded Excel charts into pictures?

Thanks,

Thank you for all your replies - I have tried several of these options already, however I am finding that when I delete the original embedded chart it messes with the layout of the text, with the knock on effect that subsequent charts in the document change their position and it is fast becoming a nightmare getting the picture versions of the chart pasted into the right place. I am sure with a lot of faffing about I will be able to manage it, but an automated way of converting would be much easier.......
