Question Converting ATX Midtower components to smallest form factor possible, case suggestion?

Um, parts list?

Not going to be very many ATX capable cases with significantly reduced volume. Kind of the point of having Micro ATX and Mini ITX.

Certainly a few that offer little to no cable management that are thinner, some with power supplies mounted in the front so they are shorter (rather than over or under the motherboard) Desktop chassis where the motherboard lays flat. These cases tend to have a short height but large foot print.

So many ways to handle this.

Simplest would be to replace the motherboard and get an ITX case.

Depends on what size motherboard you have, if it's matx then I think you will only be able to go as small as "compact" matx. At least that's the term I would google. If you have an itx motherboard then you are good to get a tiny itx case.
