quick question, my mb has a cool n quiet driver optin on the install disc, whats this do? hte documentation doesn't really say and MSi's website isn't much help

need to know if i should install it when i put my Nforce ultra dirvers on
 
It allows your CPU to clock at different speeds / voltages depending on the load you place on it.

For example when your computer is idling cool & quiet will decrease the voltage supplied to the CPU (so that the CPU produces less heat) and slow the clock speed down to around 800Mhz (I think).

If you then start an application which places a high load on the CPU, cool & quiet will put the CPU back to max speed with the correct voltage instantly.

Under idle my system with and Athalon FX-53 is running at 28* Cel. While I writing this it's gurggling along nicely. CoolnQuiet has reduced the CPU voltage from 1.5 down to 1.14 and that's enough to allow the fans to really cool her down. When I'm playing "Far Cry" it'll spool up to max voltage and my temps are around 52* Cel
