cooler for msi 970 gaming

i bought the hyper t4 for this board but it doesnt fit. ive searched the forums most say it does but it hits the ram. the only way to mount it is either fan up or down on this board. all 120mm fans are going to be the same width even the 212 so what are my options or other ways to mount it. im running the gskill sniper ram.

Mount it facing up, or slide the fan up.
Another option is the Cryorig H7, wont interfere with any ram.

If you need a 120MM cooler for tall ram clearance the Thermalright True Spirit 120M is hard to beat. The cooler is canted back away from the ram slots. Only problem is that its a bit hard to find and costs about $10 more than the CM Hyper 212 Evo.

I have to mount it fan up down. The t4 brackets won't allow side mount. I was looking at the cryorig one. Idk if the 212 has the brackets for this mobo but the cryorig isn't expensive. It just sucks to lose money.
