Question Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO compatibilty

Hello!

i need a new cooler because the temperature of my cpu is too high (more than 100 degrees!) in gaming.
I changed thermal paste and clean the case but nothing...
I think my cooler isn't work well!


Cpu is: AMD a8 5600k
Motherboard: MSI A78M-E35 (militar class 4)

Please could you tell me if the cooler in objetc is compatible... and if you want suggest some other cpu cooler... maybe better.

This is the Idle temprature of my pc...

Only cpu is high... don't you find it weird?

if was an aeration problem, should it not be the same for all components?

Those are idle temperatures.
Launch some game and watch, how everything starts cooking inside.

after 15 minuts of gaming... yesterday, after about one hour, cpu was 85° ... graphics never more than 67-68...

This means inefficient air intake/exhaust.

Ok, i think that i'll bring the pc to the assitance... I can't reassemble it by myself

Just move your pc to a different position, so air intake/exhaust is not obstructed.

BTW - how many fans are inside your pc? Should be at least one (or two) large intake (120, 140, 200mm) and at least one exhaust (120mm) fan.

is it normal that in idle the temperature of cpu is 20 degrees higher than the other components?

because i'm afriad that i can move the pc in any side, i can put 200 euro's cooler inside but if the cpu is damaged I'l never solve this problem except by changing it

at the moment there are two fans, one on the front, down and the other on the back, up.

Maybe i need to mount one more fan...but where?.... i dont know... there is no more space

i could try to move the gpu a little bit down... maybe is too close to the cpu

ahaha Isn't a wooden box 😀

It was a closet and I turned it into my "office" 😀

Anyway I tried to move the pc in diffent positions... i removed the panel...both panels...
I gained 1-2 degrees.. but in gaming I remain stable around 80°... (i have to say....much better than before when i had 110°...)

Well - don't put your pc in a closet.
It needs to have free space, where air goes in and out of it (front and back).

the problem isn't the closet... i don't stay in a close space... the doors are always open and the temperature is the exactly the same.
Moreover I already tried to move the pc in different places of my home... same results.

Ok, im glad the cooler fits. Like people before me said, a pc must not be closed in any kind of furniture and the likes. I also have a feeling you dont even have any additional pc case fans. And i also have a felling you didnt seated the cooler correctly and\or did something wrong while appliying TIM.

The temperature in gaming is now 70°... I maneged the fans speed in BIOS... 😀

I would like to drop a little bit more... but I can be satisfied, from 110 to 70 degrees is a good change.
