Solution
For the CPU cooler. Technically speaking the Hyper 212 will fit with 1.5mm to spare. however if you have to adjust the height of the fan due to RAM height limitations you may be out of luck. Given the close clearance I'd recommend looking at the CRYORIG M9i. 125mm clearance for lots of breathing room, is equal to or better than the Hyper 212 in terms of performance, and the mounting system is better. Also there is no RAM overhang so you dont have to stress about the size of your modules.
The specs say 160mm max cooler, the 212 is 159mm. It's cutting close. May I recommend one of these:http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/compare/cryorig-cpu-cooler-h7,scythe-cpu-cooler-scktn4000/ Also the GTX 980 can be around 80c under load for a reference design, and usually in the 60's c for non reference while idling usually in the 30s.

Well, to start off, the stock Intel cooler will easily handle the 4690k unless you're overclocking. Even still, it will handle a mild overclock, but you won't be able to get all of the performance out of it. So - if you're not overclocking, keep the stock cooler. As for actually fitting the 212EVO, it looks like it has the same basic clearance as my old Antec NSK4400 (120mm fan right over the IO plate which is right to the edge of the side panel retainer) - and my NSK4400 has a 4670k with the 212EVO cooler.

So I would say it should fit. It is pretty close though... I have about 1/2 inch between the custom acrylic side panel I put in my case and the top of the EVO.

Max temp for the GTX980ti is 92 degrees at which point it'll self-throttle.
