Cooler Master Hyper 212 vs Corsair H45

I was planning to buy Cooler Master Hyper 212 but while I going through its specs - it is 160 mm in height while my cabinet (https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/Categories/Products/Cases/Carbide-Series®-SPEC-04-Tempered-Glass-Mid-Tower-Gaming-Case-—-Black-Red/p/CC-9011117-WW) says maximum CPU cooler height could be 150 mm. That's why I am not really sure whether this fill fit or not.



So I was looking for alternative to this cooler and find out Corsair H45 which is close to this budget, but as it is an entry level liquid cooling solution, I am not sure whether this will be at par with 212. If Corsair H45 can deliver same performance as 212, then I think due to cabinet constraints I can go with it.



Kindly suggest which one should I buy?
 


Yeah H7 is a good option, but in my region it is coming at a almost double cost of 212. Even H45 is around 18$ cheaper than H7, I think its due to low stock problem. I do not think, its a value in this case.

I am running i7 8700K on a Gigabyte Z370 Mobo

Be careful with the H60. It comes in 3 different designs, according to who is selling it. There's the original, which is years old design and is distinctive by its harder, corrugated tubing. It was revamped a few years ago with softer, rubber tubing which was a definite plus. There's also another 2018 revamp which doesn't use the older 'hockey Puck' asetek pump, but a newer squarer design. As is, the H60 is equitable in performance to the hyper212 evo, basically the same temp performance, but is beaten handily by the Cryorig H7, and the Corsair H45. Haven't seen any performance data on the 2018 revamp.

My issue is with any of the choices. An 8700k is a monster cpu, that when all or most of the threads are pushed will far exceed the ability of those coolers.

88w TDP is measured with a stock Intel set of programs used on every cpu tested. Very mediocre. It's not nearly the maximum that cpu can achieve, which is Peak Power or about 2x the TDP. That's a cpu capable at stock settings of @180w. All of the cooler choices range from 140w-150w. If you push that i7 with gaming/streaming or production software like encoding etc that uses multiple cores, expect temps in the 90°C range.

Considering India avg. ambient temps, and case restrictions, a minimum of a decent 240mm AIO or high performance 120/140mm like the H80i v2 would be advisable.
