Question Cooler Master MM710 firmware update

So I just bought a mm710 and downloaded the cm+ software. I started the firmware update and my PC crashed, when I rebooted the coolermaster software was corrupt, so I reinstalled it.
Now it no longer detects this mouse. I tried reinstalling the software again, and replugging the mouse into a different USB port - nothing works.

Which version of Coolermaster's Masterlus app did you install? Which firmware were you on prior to the mishap with the update? Which version were you updating to? Does the peripheral show up in Device manager? I'm assuming you're working with a Windows OS environment. See if you use the mouse on a donor system/laptop and if the app is able to recognize the mouse in question.

ok, so i have solved the problem above, by downloading a standalone firmware update (ver. 0110) and now it detects the mouse. However, now i need to update the firmware to the latest version (0501). And i cannot do it, when i update it just fails. I have CM+ latest version 1.8.6
