I've recently bought 2 Cooler Master Sickleflow 120mm Fans (green led) for my PC. Now One of them is able to run on 7 volt (I'm using the Fractal Design r4 case). However, whenever I try to turn on my PC with the other on in the 3Pin case connector fan control thing. My PC turns on for about a 1/4 of a second then shutdowns. It'd make sense to me if none of them were able to run at 7 volt but in this case one of them is.. So I'm wonder did I just get a bad fan and should I buy a new one and test my luck? or is there actually anything I can do to "fix it".
right, I were also wondering if it's possible to control the RPM of a fan with only 3 pins?. Regards,
