Hi,

I just got a Coolermaster 212 Evo and got my measurements wrong it's just too big to fit the case.

I'm not doing any overclocking or playing games. The PC is a server. I upgraded the cooler because the stock is known to be poor and the room gets very very hot in summer time, no a/c possible.

Do you think the stock will be sufficient after all or is there a smaller heatsink I can look into? We run other AMDs on the stock fan but they dont use as much power as the AMD 8000 series.

Or can a rack mounted case be recommended to fit the Coolermaster?

Thanks

Okay

With a ruler, try to determinate the vertical lenght between the mobo and the side panel of the case
Unless 4U case have almost the same CPU lenght, but I would be sure
Hello

The stock cooler is sufficient with no OC, but it's very noisy

There is some pretty good small cooler in the market

What's your case reference (Or CPU height) ? I can't help you without this information
