Hello there,
Are there any laptop fans that have some kind of different design so they can't be heard when spinning on higher rpm?
I have HP OMEN 17 and on idle the fans can be heard all the time. It's kinda annoying in calm places e.g. at night when everyone is asleep.
I want to change the factory ones with some better ones if it's possible.

No. If you look at any 140mm fan, it's got large blades, and really small seeming motor in the center. If you compare that to an 80mm fan, the motor is almost the same size, but the blades are tiny. Regardless of who makes the laptop fans, whether it's Noctua or some cheap Hong Kong back room dude with a plastic mold, the blades will have to be small, so there's little that's possible to do anything with them. They'll also have to spin very fast in order to move any real amount of air.

As quiet as Noctua is made to be, even their 3000rpm fans push over 40db, there's only so much that can be done physically. The tips of those fans are halfway to the sound barrier, what ya expect?

There's only one way to make a laptop run quieter, figure out how to run it cooler and more effectively.
