I am planning on buying an Intel Core i9-9900K, but at the moment I only have a fan cooler for my cpu and I am wondering if that will be enough for the Intel Core i9-9900K or if I have to buy a more expensive cpu cooler.

Solution
Definitely need a much better cooler for a 9900k. Also is that the motherboard you are wanting to put the 9900k in? It doesn’t look like a typical board for that cpu.
It's the motherboard I got with my pre built PC, the only place I can find it now is on ebay.
(ASUS G11CD-K Motherboard LGA 1151/Socket H4 Micro-ATX)
From what I can find online that motherboard was used with 7th generation Intel’s. Motherboards that support 6th & 7th generation Intel do not support 8th & 9th generation even though the sockets are the same. Additionally even if it did support 8th & 9th generation CPUs from the pictures it has a very basic VRM design and definitely not adequate for a 9900k.
