I bought the AMD FX-8350 CPU a few months ago to be able to stream League of Legends at 720p/60fps. It did the trick, and I can actually stream now, but the noise the CPU stock fan makes is literally driving me crazy. I'm using open headphones to listen to my music, and I can hear the fans through my headphones very clearly, even when I'm listening to music. At idle the fans run at 4000 RPM, while under load it goes up to 6000 RPM.
I've been thinking about getting an AIO CPU cooler, but I'm not sure if it's needed. I'm not thinking about overclocking anytime soon, because I don't plan on playing any other games or doing anything that requires the CPU overclock. I just want to be able to stream and not have that noise that drives me insane.
My question is if the famous Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO would make my rig quiet while streaming, or if I should invest some more money and buy an AIO cooler like the Corsair Hydro Series H110I GT / Cooler Master Nepton 240M / ...
(More info about my rig etc can be found in my previous thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2905820/cpu-upgrade-year-system.html )
