I connected my laptop's hdd with my desktop and transferred some files (around 175 gb) in the main C: where program files etc are at (because i wasn't able to access my user folder). When i connected the hdd back into the laptop, the files are not there and the size of the disk was also the same (24 gb used, additional 175 gb vanished).
But when i reconnected the hdd with the desktop, the files are not showing there also but the size has reduced and used space changed from 24 gb to 200 gb (which indicates that the files exist but are not showing).
How to fix this?
