copying to CD

I have a CD burner that I can no longer seem to use. All I want to do it
copy a PowerPoint presentation to a CD but the message I get is "resource in
use."

Any suggestions?

Make sure CD Recording is enabled for CD Burner via My Computer,
properties of the CDR/RW drive.
