cordless keyboard problem

i have a logitech i touch cordless keyboard and i just installed windows xp pro on my amd athlon slot A 750mhz with 640 meg of ram and now my numbers pad dosent work. Can anyone tell me how i can fix this problem its a real pain. thanks.
