Hello,

I've just installed a new CPU fan (Corsair H115i). Then did a stress test, each core was loaded at 100%. After that saw that the core 01 is 4-5ºC warmer than others. With the old cooler, this core was warmer than the rest, but not with this difference. (maybe 1-2ºC max)

Is it normal? I have applied thermal paste all over the CPU as thin layer and think I did it well.

Normal in my experience and it varies with each CPU. On this system right at the moment with each core saturated at 100% by BOINC I see temperatures of 78,83,72,77. This is with the Shuttle cube's "ICE" cooling system. Before anybody says that it is too hot, it has been running 24X7 like this for a couple of years now and I know it is safe (if disconcerting).
