Core 2 duo E7500 makes pc extremely loud.

Hello, I currently bought a intel core 2 duo E7500 to replace my E6400, but when I install the E7500 on my Hp-compaq dc7500 which has a 240w psu, 4GB or ram, Geforce 210 1GB, and windows 7 the psu fan and the heat sink fan begin to get loud like a vaccum cleaner and my windows experience scores gets lower, I wanted to know if there is anyway to make it become as quiet as it was with the e6400 and if i need to buy any new hardware ofr my pc

Make sure the temps of your cpu are alright first.

Check if the CPU fan is fasten properly and check the cpu temp

The first possibility is that you did not install the heatsink properly.Check that at first.

I tried the install the heatsink it brought but it stays a bit loose so i kept the old one and the cpu is running at 39.9 degrees C with the e7500, also when i start up my pc it says I need to update my microcode or something like that maybe thats the problem?

The CPU fan and the power supply fan are the only ones running on high

Does it make the noise any more? If that temperature is on idle, then there's nothing to worry about.
