Core 2 Duo or AMD

I am in the process or orderin a comp to build and i was wondering what processor. Would it be better to go with the Core 2 Duo E4300 or with an AMD 4200 or an AMD X2 3800?

Do you plan to overclock it? If so then Intel. If not then let price be your guide.

If you enjoy overclocking(as in get a thrill from it ) the E4300 is the best of the three. It might cost you a few bucks more, but DDR2-533/667 should suffice, but DDR2-800 is very highly recommended for the AMD setups. GL

ps. Even without overclocking, the E4300 should offer the best performance....but not by that much.

Yup, Intel it is...
