Question Core I5-9400F motherboard compatibility

Hi,

I am looking for pc upgrades, I have an ASUS H81M-PLUS. Would this motherboard be compatible with 9th gen coffee lake CPU's, like the Core I5 9400F?

300 series chipset is required and also DDR 4 ram

100% B365 support out of the box for F 'no igpu' series processors.

Other 300 series motherboards supporting 9400F but may require a bios update depending on how new the motherboard is in stock. 9400F was an afterthought release and when z390 was released to support 9th gen cpus, all of these boards needed a bios update to run F cpus.

Asrock have released B365 motherboards for 9400F, i would choose one of those models to be sure or ask the seller to confirm the bios revision (That's if they know) of another 300 series motherboard to confirm.
